Sladjan Nedeljkovic is a Serbian artist based in Berlin who grew up in Switzerland. His work include drawing, installation, photography, video and often have a participatory nature, such as Secret Garden, which featured a woven blanket for picnics and Speed, which was a bicycle for visitors to explore the gallery surroundings. Sladjan’s fine art studies includes an architecture apprenticeship with K. Bernath & C. Frei Architects; School of Design, Lucern; Higher School of Visual Arts, Geneva, and he received his Masters from Goldsmiths, London, in 2002.

Sladjan’s work has been presented in numerous exhibitions including, Poesie der Auflösung, Kunstraum Tosterglope, 2020; Morgen schwimmt der Mond, Projektraum Kunstquartier Bethanien, Berlin, 2019; Space arrangements, Kunstverein Ebersberg, 2017; FAX, Karst, Plymouth, UK, 2015, 48h Neukölln, Berlin, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 ; Conver sações, Baukurs Cultural, Rio de Janeiro, 2010, USUK show, Three Colts Gallery, London, Lab Gallery, New York, 2005 and Yoke and Zoom, Tokyo, 2003. He has been awarded the 2004 Swiss Art Prize; 2005 Namics Art Prize and he has completed artists residencies at BBK, Berlin; Atelier Flex Lisbon, and Residency Genoa, City of Zug & SKK. Sladjan teaches experimental documentary film at the University of Applied Sciences Europe, Berlin.

Landis & Gyr Stiftung, Switzerland

The Landis & Gyr foundation awards studio scholarships to Swiss artists and cultural professionals in London, Budapest, Sofia and Zug. Its London-based residency partnership with Acme was established in 1987, and provides six month long work/live opportunities for ten Swiss artists per year. Artists are selected for the programme directly by Landis & Gyr Stiftung and must demonstrate a track record of achievement in their field. Over two hundred visual artists, curators, writers, musicians and composers have benefitted from the programme. Residencies are based in Stepney, E1 and are available to Swiss residents only
